A little less inbox clutter

Temp mail for the messages you need once

A temporary email address gives a one-time message somewhere to land. Use InboxForNow for a permitted download, a short-lived registration, or testing the emails your own application sends. Keep a permanent address for anything you will need tomorrow.

How to use your disposable inbox

  1. Copy the live address. Wait for the inbox to connect, then use the Copy button above. No account or personal email is required.
  2. Request your message. Paste the address into a form that permits temporary email, or send a test message from your own application. Keep this tab open.
  3. Read it before expiry. Messages appear after delivery. Copy a code or open an expected link, then delete the inbox when finished. Extend the timer first if you need more time.

Choose the right kind of address

Temporary inbox: one-time messages and testing signup confirmations, verification emails, or password resets in an application you control.

Permanent email or forwarding alias: banking, payments, subscriptions, workspaces, purchases, and accounts you want to recover later.

A disposable address helps keep your everyday inbox out of a form. It does not make an account anonymous or change a platform’s verification requirements. See the privacy policy for storage and infrastructure details.

Temporary email questions

What is temporary email?

Temporary email, also called temp mail or disposable email, is a short-lived address for receiving messages without giving out your everyday email. InboxForNow creates a receive-only inbox in your browser without an account.

How long does this temporary inbox last?

A new inbox starts with 10 minutes. Use the extension buttons before it expires; the maximum remaining timer is 24 hours. When the timer ends, access stops. Scheduled cleanup removes expired inboxes and messages every 5 minutes.

Can I send or reply to emails?

No. InboxForNow only receives email. It does not provide sending, replies, forwarding to your main inbox, or SMS verification. Attachments are dropped.

Will every website accept this address?

No. Websites may reject disposable email domains, require a phone number, or use a different login method. A new address may use the same domain. Check the platform guides for known restrictions and use a supported permanent address when required.

Why has my verification email not arrived?

Check that you copied the live address correctly, the inbox is still active, and the page has a connection. Sender delays, domain restrictions, or mail delivery failures can prevent a message from arriving. Delivery has no fixed time guarantee.

Is temporary email the same as an email alias?

An expiring inbox receives messages only while it is active. A forwarding alias normally routes mail to a lasting inbox and can remain available for later messages. Use a permanent address or lasting alias for accounts that need recovery.

Can I recover an expired inbox?

No. Expired inboxes are not an archive. Save any information you need before expiry, and do not attach an important account to an address that will stop receiving its recovery emails.

Will reloading change my temporary email address?

This tab reconnects to the same active inbox after a reload when browser session storage is available. It checks the server’s original expiry time; reloading does not extend the timer. New address selects a different inbox. If storage is blocked or the inbox has expired or been deleted, the same session cannot be restored.

Check the platform guides before using disposable email for a particular service, and read the terms of use.
